Experience
I tutor a variety of courses, but my specialties are statistics, probability, and calculus. I have extensive experience tutoring students of all abilities and ages in math, and much of this experience was accumulated during the decade I spent working as a librarian at a public library. I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics at CUNY Brooklyn College, and I both graduated summa cum laude and earned the Arthur M. Keller award for academic achievement in science and mathematics. I am proud to have earned this very prestigious award, and I now enjoy using my deep understanding of math and science course to help teach others who may be struggling in these courses. At this time, I am the manager of a non-profit organization. There, I help design efficient work procedures and decide what purchases to make by utilizing my skills in statistical analysis and technology. I look forward to using my experience and deep understanding of math to help you or your child begin to understand and develop a love for math. Along with tutoring various math courses, I can also help students prepare for the CLEP exams and other tests. When not tutoring, I enjoy staying active by hiking or playing a game of baseball. I also play the guitar in my free time.
